Friday

12:15 p.m. – Behind the Art (an ‘unveiling’ of Gregory Barsamian’s moving sculptures; see related story) with curator Todd Behrens and exhibits specialist Gregory Mills, Polk Museum of Art.

7-9 p.m. – Opening reception for USF MFA Graduation Exhibition at USF Contemporary Art Museum. Artists include Kimberly Adams, Jeremy Chandler, April Childers, Rebecca Flanders, Chad Harmon, Shane Hoffman, Lauren Howard, James Reiman, Ivan Reyes-Garcia, Marta Slaughter, Jonathan Vaughan and Wesley Wetherington.

7-10 p.m. – EMERGE! Art Party: Photo with guest artists Carolina Cleere, Michael Bowles, Bob Pomeroy, Bob Parsons, Dave Pritchard, Deborah Muller, Dorian Angello, Colleen Gorlewski, Melisa Taylor, Stephen Bivens, Mark Paulissen, Kristi Stiff, Joel Perez and Jerry Feightner at Tampa Artist Emporium.

7-10 p.m. – Quarry, with work by fine art seniors Kayla Carlson and Romy Aura Maloon and performances by Skeleton Warrior and Skunk Ape at 8:30 p.m., at the Crossley Gallery, Ringling College of Art and Design.

7:30 p.m. – The Agreeable Husband, a multi-media performance by Ami Sallee Corley and Shana Perkins, at HCC Ybor Performing Arts Building, Mainstage Theater. Part of Ybor Festival of the Moving Image.

Saturday

7:30 p.m. – Portables: Part 2 dance performance by choreographer Claire Porter at HCC Ybor Performing Arts Building, Mainstage Theater. Part of Ybor Festival of the Moving Image.

Sunday

4 p.m. – The Wild, Wild East: A Multi-Media Examination of the Humor and Satire in the Wonderful and Frightening World of Eastern European Cinema presented by Lance Goldenberg at HCC Ybor Performing Arts Building, Mainstage Theater. Part of Ybor Festival of the Moving Image.
