The New Tampa Arts Festival is normally held during the middle weekend of November from Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free to the public. This is a juried fine art show with a purse of $6,750 distributed to the winning artists. Entertainment, food and beverages are available. The Festival is set outside by the Grace Episcopal Church off Tampa Palms Blvd and Bruce B. Downs in Tampa Palms by the Publix Shopping Center. It’s a great setting and a very “comfortable” time of year weather-wise. Sponsorships are available with an opportunity to advertise to a highly marketable demographic. Great setting: yes.
Good prize money: ditto
Sales: Nonexistant. I call out the good folks of New Tampa. Come see and perhaps purchase some great art. In a down economy, art just may be the balm we need in addition to holding its value.
Oh yeah, the food’s not too good, so grab a sandwich at Publix next door.
