Friday, Sept. 26
6-10 p.m. – Opening reception for The Circle Revisited, a group show, at Gallery 209 inside the West Tampa Center for the Arts. (Swing by [5]art, in the same building at the same time, for the closing reception of Each Day Is Better Than the Next…)
7 p.m.-2 a.m. – Opening reception for Cardboard Extravaganza!, sculpture, painting, photography and prints by Ryann Slauson and Keith Thomas, at USF’s Oliver Gallery. (There will be a closing reception for this show on Oct. 3.)
If you are up at USF, the opening reception for Deon Blackwell’s 8 Bit Show at the Centre Gallery, which features his electronic synthesizer and other videogame-inspired pieces, is also tonight.
Sat., Sept. 27
10 a.m.-6 p.m. – 2nd Annual Folkfest St. Pete, hosted by Creative Clay, on Central Ave. between 11th and 13th Streets in downtown St. Petersburg.
8 p.m.-midnight – SoundFX: Art Party at ARTpool, St. Petersburg.
8 p.m.-midnight – Brand New Day at Skypoint condominium, downtown Tampa.
Sun., Sept. 28
