An update on Tampa-based artist Lori Ballard’s work, mentioned in this blog post recently. Tomorrow, an exhibit of her series of photo banners opens in Salt Lake City. Via email from Lori:

Saans Photography Gallery is thrilled to announce our dedication to promoting fine art photography. We will be featuring not only local but international photographers.

The first artist we will be showcasing is Lori Ballard. She is based out of Florida and travels with State Fairs documenting the “Strange and Curious Oddities.” The body of work we will be exhibiting is a mixed media photographic process of transferring an image cut up into many pieces to create one onto banners that are sewn 4 feet by 6 feet. Saan’s is very excited to be representing her work. Please come join us Friday September 19 from 6-10pm for the artist’s opening.
